DESIGN PROCESS

Start with what inspires. An idea, concept or object.

Branch out & make connections. Expound upon the central idea as much as possible.

What does it look like, feel like, smell like, etc.

Bring in visual inspiration connecting to theme.

Let the information gathered so far inform your silhouettes, color pallet and fabric selection.

Rapid sketch ideation.
Every style choice influenced by inspiration.

Textile selection aligns with how fabrics drape and fall on the body in sketches.

Final sketches informed by fabric selection.
